Clothing is very important in a photograph. I recommend wearing layers as much as possible to add interest. I also recommend clothing with texture, such as chunky sweaters, scarfs, clothing with ruffles, lace, buttons, ribbon, embroidery, anything that has a texture to it-  anything with lots of color and texture photographs really well. Please bring clothing that fits your personality and that you feel comfortable in. I usually ask to stay away from all black and all white, as they don’t photograph as well. Accessories are my favorite accent to a photograph. Hats, scarves, fun necklaces, funky boots, tights, etc. really can make a photograph more interesting.
Trust me when I say, 2 outfit changes are great for an engagement session!
